• Who we are

The South Shore Tennis Association (SSTA) is a non-profit organization with no club affiliations, proudly serving adult tennis players across Southeastern Massachusetts for over 25 years. Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, SSTA promotes the game of tennis by offering competitive and social opportunities that foster community, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of the sport.

  • About our leagues

The South Shore Tennis Association offers year-round adult leagues for men’s and women’s singles and doubles play. Spring/Summer Leagues (May–September): Matches are played outdoors at Marshfield, Pembroke, and Weymouth High Schools. Fall/Winter Leagues (October–April): Matches move indoors to the Kingsbury Club in Kingston. Our leagues provide a great way for adult players to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy competitive tennis in a fun and welcoming environment.

  • End-of-Year Celebration

Each September, the South Shore Tennis Association hosts an End-of-Year Celebration to recognize and reward our top-performing league players. Great prizes are awarded to those who have participated in at least one of the Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter leagues. It’s a fun evening of camaraderie, recognition, and celebration of another successful season of tennis on the South Shore.

  • Tennis Scholarships

Each year, the South Shore Tennis Association awards substantial scholarships to two high school tennis players from local schools. These scholarships support and encourage young athletes who demonstrate dedication, sportsmanship, and a passion for the game. Through this program, SSTA is proud to promote the growth of tennis, inspire up-and-coming players, and give back to the community that supports our sport.
